Monday- lunes

Today is the first day of school. 7:30 is the time the gates are closed. Someone gets to school late- Too bad. It's an unexcused absence, they have to go home. That might seem nice but if it happens more than (I forget the number- about 9 I think) times, the student is expelled and they are not reimbursed their enrollment fees. Needless to say, the parents make sure their kids get to school on time. Another interesting thing about their school is that Tardies don't exist. At the bell marking the beginning of class, the teachers lock and close their doors. If a student gets to class late-too bad. They must stay outside of the door until the "hall monitor" comes by to take their name down. The student stays there or goes somewhere else directed by the monitor It is an unexcused absence from class. The student needs to find out a way to get materials etc from the class missed. The teacher has no responsibility to help. It's very interesting to see this type of system.
